Dough:

200ml warm milk,

1 sachet quick-rise yeast,

60g white sugar,

1 whole egg,

1 egg yolk,

60g melted Stork butter,

750 bread flour,

pinch of salt.

Filling:

60g Softened Stork butter,

400g brown sugar,

2 tablespoons cinnamon.

Frosting:

100g Cream cheese,

2 tablespoons Stork butter,

150g powdered sugar,

Few drops of vanilla extract.

Method

Dough Preparation: Mix yeast in warm milk with sugar, add eggs, butter, flour, and salt. Knead for about 8 minutes if by Kenwood. You will need at least 10- 12 minutes on a well-floured surface by hand.

Let it rise: Place the dough in a well-greased bowl and cover with stretch & seal and a warm cloth. Allow it to rest and rise for around 1 hour and a half.

Make the cinnamon mix: In the meantime, mix the soft butter, cinnamon, and sugar in a separate bowl.

Assembling Rolls: Roll out the dough and apply the cinnamon mix evenly. Put some mix near the edges so you use the whole of the dough. Roll tightly and slice evenly.

Baking: Place the rolls in a pan, allow a second rise (40 minutes), then bake until golden brown (30 minutes or until golden).

Frosting: Combine cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Spread on warm rolls.
